MAZDA IDS
Mazda service and OEM level software is available to the general aftermarket with the IDS tool. This scanner is used for all Mazda vehicles from 1996 to 2008 model years. Scanner coverage includes data PIDs, codes and bi-directional controls. System access includes engine, transmission, ABS, SRS and any body modules present. Note the IDS tool is also used for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury coverage.

Consult II
NISSAN / INFINITY dealer service is performed with the Consult II scanner. This tools capability includes access to all systems on all of the Nissan and Infinity branded vehicles from 1992 to 2006. The software for this tool is actually written by the Nissan / Infinity engineering teams, however the 'Authoring Software', the enginnering term for a software program that facilitates development is produced by a third party.

Please note: The Mastertech which once was the factory tool for Toyota/Lexus as well as Honda/Acura, Isuzu, Kia, Suzuki and others has been replaced over the last few years with newer OEM applications that typically are PC based tools.
