PC Retriever
Volvo scanning can also be accomplished very well with the laptop based PCRetriever. This tool allows the tech to read codes, clear codes, view datastream on these vehicles. Autoland Scientech's "iScan"
Volvo Service can be performed with the Autoland Scientic's iScan tool. This tool, althought not the OEM tool, does a very good job of reading these vehicles. Coverage includes data stream, Codes and bi-directional controls as well as the ability of 'synchronizing' various components/systems after an install. Along with presenting data in a digital format, the iScan also allows for data graphing on the larger then normal viewing screen. Current model year coverages goes to 1998.
